Holidays in Brittany were great as usual! This year we did not stay very long but it was busy alright! We arrived on Friday evening after a long and tedious day of travel. We spent the first Saturday at my dad’s place relaxing then we headed towards Paimpol. My mum was waiting for us with a limp as she had fallen a couple of days previously. As always she was in complete denial and kept saying everything was going to be fine but she ended up having a hip replacement the day before we left! Got us busy for the last 2 days but I am really happy to have been able to be there at the right time and help a bit, for once! She is now still limping but her leg is not broken anymore!
The rest of the time we spent some nice and relaxing time with David’s parents, Joan and Victor, his sister Sandra and her family (hubby Paul and 3 daughters Louise, Kathrin and Joanne) who all had travelled from Belfast to celebrate in Paimpol Joan’s 70th birthday. We had a great time and took the opportunity to also celebrate Max’s 16th and Alex’s 18th birthdays. On saturday my dad, Odile, my brother Yann and his family nearly complete came along for a big BBQ in the garden. We ate cakes until we were about to burst! Have a look at the album at the top right of the page!
