California in January

We just came back from California! It was super nice and we were very lucky with the weather! We spent 3 days in San Francisco then rented a car and drove North across the Golden Gate bridge and along the scenic Highway 1 to Point Reyes National Seashore where we watched the ocean for a day. Next we drove to Yosemite National Park, East of California in the Sierra Nevada. There we trekked in the Yosemite valley to the highest falls in North American and in the Wawona area to admire the beautiful giant sequoia including the incredible Grizzli Giant, 2700 years old, 80m high, 9m diameter at the base… After that we drove back to the ocean to check if nothing had happened and indeed it was still there rolling great surfs. We stopped by the Ano Nuevo elephant seal reserve to watch these big lumpy fatty things mate and have babies on the beach! They are very wow and bulls have disgusting faces!
